A devastated mother wants to post a photo of her dead 12-year-old daughter, to raise awareness about bullying.

Rachel Halliwell has revealed her daughter Semina took her own life shortly after an interview with a police officer and died on June 12 last year after spending four nights in hospital.

Before her death, Semina, a freshman in high school, claimed she was raped by an older boy who she said groomed her on social media.

Now her heartbroken mother Rachel has posted a photo of Semina taken in hospital days before her death as she worried about the way police handled her daughter’s case.

A baby has been named Britain’s third largest newborn after arriving weighing more than a stone – and is already the same height as his 16-month-old brother.

Mom Cherrall Mitchell gave birth to son Alpha Stone Mitchell via C-section on October 28, 2021, weighing 14 pounds 15 ounces.

Now five months old, the baby boy weighs 10 pounds, with his parents attributing his growth to his hearty breakfasts of porridge, according to the mirror.

Changes to the Covid testing program in Scotland will come into effect from next week.

Advice for Scots to take routine lateral flow tests if they have no symptoms of the virus will drop from Monday April 18.

Regular asymptomatic testing in workplaces and educational institutions – including schools and universities – will also end on this date.

A petition calling on the UK government to increase state pension payments to £19,760 a year, the equivalent of £380 a week, has received over 30,000 signatures of support and is currently awaiting an official response from the Department of Labor and Pensions (DWP).

The suggested increase would bring state pension payments in line with the recent April 1 rise in the National Living Wage, which is now £9.50 an hour for people aged over 23 in work 40 hours per week – equivalent to an annual salary of £19,760.
