Headlines Tuesday: SEC haters on protecting Oscar Tshiebwe edition
As many times as you sat down and cheered on Kentucky big man Oscar Tshiebwe last year, have you ever thought about what it would be like to play against him? Tshiebwe is the reigning unanimous player of the year in all six categories after averaging 17.4 points and 15.1 rebounds per game.
With his second season with the Wildcats on the horizon, Kentucky Sports Radio asked a few opponents how difficult it was to defend the star big man.
The KSR team spoke with seven representatives from the Southeastern Conference teams, who were the following schools and players.
- Arkansas and Kamani Johnson
- Auburn and Jaylin Williams
- Florida and Colin Castleton
- Georgia and Kario Oquendo
- South Carolina and GG Jackson
- Tennessee and Josiah Jordan-James
- Texas A&M and Henry Coleman III
The consensus was as you might have imagined – each team giving a wholesome explanation of the quality Tshiebwe and the culture head coach John Calipari has built around him. Visit this link to read all seven responses.
