Jamal Hood, a defensive back from St. Frances Academy (MD) NOT will sign with Boston College on Wednesday. The parties have reportedly decided to separate.

To analyse: A big blow to the Eagles, Hood was the first rookie to sign up for Jeff Hafley for this class. We will have to wait and see how British Columbia resolves this situation in the future.

Sam candotti an Australian bettor is the first player to sign with the school. Obviously, given the time difference, it is in a place where it is already National Signing Day. You can read her engagement message here, and our interview with Candotti here.

To analyse: With Grant Carlson with one year remaining, or graduating depending on whether he takes the extra year, Boston College is going to need a replacement. Getting a former Australian rugby player is going to give the Eagles a bettor with a very unique flair that could be a big international ‘hit’ for Jeff Hafley and his team.
