Another day of low humidity before it returns

Wasn’t Saturday great?! We saw highs in the 80s, low humidity and lots of sun. It doesn’t get much better than that for the month of August.

We will see a similar day on Sunday, but a few more clouds are expected during the day. Overall, we’ll call Sunday a mix between partly cloudy and mostly cloudy. Highs will be in the 80s again, with a light NE/E wind.

Great weather overall for everything you have planned today.

Sunday morning temperatures start in the mid 60s. Our average low at this time of year is 72°F. On average, September 15th is usually when we see a low of around 65°F, you can therefore say that our Sunday morning temperatures are about a month ahead of schedule. With the clouds returning today and the humidity increasing through Monday, Sunday night through Monday’s lows will be a little warmer near 70.

Monday won’t be a washout, but we will see more humidity and a better chance of rain. Expect intermittent showers throughout the day, with higher chances late in the day and overnight. Some of the rain could be locally abundant on Tuesday evening along the front in NE NC. Rain showers will also persist on Tuesday.

Overall, precipitation totals appear to be around 0.5″ of rain through Monday and Tuesday.

Trend a little drier on Wednesday and Thursday, before the return of a few risks of rain at the end of the week.

I hope you are having a good weekend!
