Term papers, like any other school assignment measures the understanding of a student in a specific course or study. Usually students allot a month or so to finish a term paper and if they are lucky, these papers will be their gateway for graduating in their respective course or level. • Term papers are written to argue a certain point or interest but usually it describes an event or concept.
• Term papers as the term suggests is a paper that tackles a certain topic that students studied over the term or discuss the things students learned throughout the whole course or class.
• Term papers usually is persuasive that’s why some of them are written rhetorically. To persuade readers, students present facts and statistics to support their point of argument.
• Term papers follow a structural format. It mainly consists of Introduction, Body and Conclusion. The introduction is the part where the thesis statement or the issue is introduced. The body is where the student presents his/her points in the issue, support the claim using facts and statistics and persuade the readers to support his point of argument. Lastly, the conclusion is where the student summarizes his points and arguments based on the evidences and facts presented in the body of his/her term paper.
• Term papers can stand without academic research. Although some term paper writers do academic research, still the purpose of term paper is to persuade unlike research papers that summarizes information from one or more resources.
